At least one person has died and 15 others have sustained injuries in a large explosion in a block of flats in Barcelona, Spain.
Flames were seen bursting from a seven-story block in the Spanish resort of Premia de Mar.
An emergency services spokeswoman said: “The explosion happened at 8.25am and affected 15 people, 14 of whom were injured and one who died.”
Two of the injured people are in a serious condition.
The apartment block has now been evacuated.
The cause of the explosion has not yet been confirmed.
