$10K Reward: Suspect Sought In Slaying of 16-Year-Old Girl

ATLANTA—David J. LeValley, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office, in conjunction with Erika Shields, Chief of Police, Atlanta P.D., request the public’s assistance in its efforts to locate Dwight Lewis, charged with murder by Atlanta P.D. for the February 2, 2017 homicide of a 16-year-old girl.

On Thursday, February 2, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Dwight Lewis is alleged to have fired several rounds from his semi-automatic handgun, as part of an altercation, into a vehicle with a 16-year-old female inside. The 16-year-old female was struck and died from her injuries. The shooting occurred at the Deerfield Gardens Apartments located at 2909 Campbellton Road S.W., Atlanta.

Lewis is described as being a black male, 26 years of age, 6’5” in height, 200 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.

This case is being worked by the Atlanta Police Department and the FBI Atlanta Field Office.
