HOUSTON — On Tuesday, deputies responded to a hit and run call in the Bonaire subdivision. An on duty Hempstead Officer stated a suspect vehicle almost struck several workers on Highway 290 and disregarded his traffic control point. The officer pursued the vehicle and he observed the suspect vehicle strike another vehicle and continue to flee the scene.
The officer continued to pursue the suspect who then came to a stop and got into another vehicle and fled. The officer stated the suspect was a large white male but then lost sight.
During the investigation, a victim approached the Constable Deputy and stated he and his 11 year old granddaughter were just kidnapped by a large white male suspect. He stated that the male entered his vehicle and held a screwdriver to his granddaughter and demanded that he drive away.
The victim for the safety of his granddaughter drove the vehicle towards the Hemwick Place subdivision where the suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
After a thorough investigation, Constable Deputies were able to positively identify the suspect as Glen Wysk who was originally driving a stolen vehicle when he wrecked.
Glen Wysk is currently wanted by law enforcement for Aggravated Kidnapping.
