BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — An argument on Facebook turned deadly after a group of girls agreed to meet at a park and fight on camera.
After the brawl ensued, two teen males pulled out guns and started shooting at the girls, according to WIAT. The shots killed 14-year-old Kierra’onna Rice and wounded two others.
Birmingham police arrested two suspects who were identified by witnesses.
WBRC reports, Birmingham police identified the suspects as Antonio King, 17, and Jason Wade, 19, both of Birmingham.
King and Wade have each been charged with murder, first degree assault and second degree assault. They are being held in the Jefferson County Jail on bonds of $3 million each.
Birmingham is the largest city in Alabama. The city is the county seat of Jefferson County. The city’s population was 212,237 according to the 2010 United States Census.
