WASHINGTON – Police cleared the scene of a reported bomb threat near the U.S. Capitol at the Department of Labor Tuesday evening.
DC police officers were called in around 5:45 p.m. local time due to the threat. According to local media, the incident was focused on a suspicious package.

Several roads in the area were closed due to the investigation. The package was later cleared as safe and no injuries were reported.
