NEW YORK — (Scroll down for video) — Two women, who do not want to give their full names, stepped out of the shadows to accuse comedian Bill Cosby of sexual assault that occurred in the 1970’s.

Since 2000, Cosby has been accused by numerous women of sexual assault and rape, with the earliest alleged incidents taking place in the mid-1960s and with many claiming to have been victims of drug facilitated sexual assault.

He has denied the allegations and has never been criminally charged. Most of the acts alleged by his accusers fall outside the statutes of limitations for legal proceedings.

As of July 2015, two related lawsuits against Cosby are pending, including one for defamation of character.

According to Mashable, Charlotte Fox was an aspiring actress at the time of her alleged assault. The other woman, referred to only as “Elizabeth,” was a 20-year-old flight attendant with American Airlines when she first met Cosby.
