The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says two police officers were shot in Chickasha Sunday.
The Officers came under fire as they were attempting to serve a search warrant at 3507 S. 4th—-One Chickasha police officer remains in the hospital.
OKC-FOX reported: The officer’s wife spoke with FOX 25’s Julie Calhoun Monday morning. She says the officer is in stable condition and will need several surgeries, however he is awake and talking. His forearm is “shattered” and his ear is “stitched up.”
The suspect, Alex Warren Klingler was also injured. “He should be released soon from the hospital and booked into the Grady County jail,” officials said. Charges are pending.
