2 Women At Large After Boy, 11, Was Shot In The Head

NASHVILLE, Tennessee –Two men are in custody and two women are being sought in connection with the March 22nd indiscriminate gunfire outside 126 Fern Avenue that critically injured 11-year-old Keon Malone.
All four defendants have been indicted on multiple counts of attempted 1st degree murder, felony reckless endangerment and violating the crooks with guns law.

Jamar Medaries, 23, was arrested at 2421 Branch Street by SWAT officers assigned to the Special Response Team. Medaries attempted to hide in the attic, fell through the ceiling and was taken into custody trying to conceal himself under a couch. Brandon C. Scott, 22, was taken into custody without incident at his 1202 Kirkland Avenue home. Still being sought are Porscha Medaries, 20, who is last known to have lived on Weatherstone Cove E in Antioch, and Vadra Jackson, 22, who is last known to have lived on Winthorne Drive.

   
 Porscha Medaries is alleged to have summoned her uncle, Jamar, and Brandon Scott to Fern Avenue over a dispute she was having with a female resident of a duplex at 126-B. Jamar Medaries and Scott are alleged to have fired indiscriminately in the direction of 126-B. Keon Malone, who was at the entry way of duplex unit 126-C at the time of the gunfire was hit in the head by one of the rounds and was critically injured. Vadra Jackson is alleged to have conspired with Porscha Medaries on that Sunday afternoon.
