At least two centers in Connecticut also reported receiving bomb threats.

Last week, there were a total of 16 centers threatened in nine states.

Threats were also made to at least seven centers in Florida, Delaware, Tennessee, North Carolina and New Jersey.

Jeremy Russel, of the Jewish Community Relations Council said; ‘We don’t know whats going on, there are a lot of unknowns.

‘We are very concerned about the existence of these calls and the threat they are imposing on the community. We will be responding appropriately.’
