NY Knicks Player Shot, Held Up For His Gold Teeth in Queens

MASPETH, Queens – Knicks player Cleanthony Early was robbed at gunpoint and shot early Wednesday after he left a strip club in Queens.

Early’s Uber cab was boxed in by other vehicles after he left the CityScapes Gentlemen’s Club with a female. Robbers rushed the car and he was held up at gunpoint.

The masked gunmen took the athlete’s gold chains and the gold caps on his teeth, according to WINS. Early was shot in the leg during the crime.

Early and the Uber driver rushed to nearby homes for help. The 24-year-old was undergoing surgery. He was in stable condition.

The Knicks released a statement saying: “We are aware of what occurred with Cleanthony Early this morning and are relieved that he is not in a life-threatening situation. We will not comment any further until we receive more information.”
