WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) Friday was a day for people around the country to honor veterans, and for one 90 year old woman, she chose a different way to pay tribute.

She decided to go skydiving.

“I think if I don’t do it now, I may never do it,” said Lorry Phillips, who decided to go skydiving to honor her husband.

“I’m a little nervous, but I’ve taken risks before,” said Phillips.

Phillips jumped from 10,000 feet with a 45-second free fall.

“I had a son that died and killed in Vietnam. I have three sons, Greg, Bob, and Rick who were in the service, and I also have a grandson that’s in the service,” said Phillips.

“She’s like the Energizer Bunny, and she still plays golf twice a week,” said Bob Phillips, Lorry’s stepson. “A lot of us have to run to keep up with her, but whatever she does never surprises us.”
