Memphis Police have closed several streets surrounding a Mazda car dealership where a man is holed up and threatening suicide.
The suspect, Scott Bondzio, contacted WMC Action News 5 Thursday afternoon, he is in his SUV with a gun to his head because of domestic issues with his girlfriend, he told the station.
As Bondzio waits, he continues to update is status on Facebook with details of the incident. In one post he wrote, “Look everybody I’m putting Memphis city tax dollars to work finally for once Memphis City Police is doing the g***mn job.”
Friends of the man have been posting on Facebook asking him to end the situation and to think about his family.
Some of his friends have shown up here to the scene and say anxiety may have led him to this.
