Oxnard, Calif. Woman Murdered During Domestic Dispute, Suspect on the Run

OXNARD, California — RELEASE: On Thursday, officers responded to the 100 block of North Juanita reference a domestic violence incident involving a male and female.

The male was seen by witnesses dragging the female into the residence which was followed by multiple gunshots. The suspect has been identified as Alfredo Ortiz, 33 years of age.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’5, 195 pounds, black hair, and brown eyes. The suspect may have been transported from the scene by a family member but is still believed to be in Ventura County.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.


Anyone with information in regards to the suspect’s whereabouts should dial 911 immediately.
