ALERT: Cops Searching For Escaped Prisoner In New York City

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Layquan Johnson who was released in error from a City of New York Department of Correction detention facility. Details are as follows:

At 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 Johnson was released from 320 Jay Street (Brooklyn Supreme Court) in the confines of the 84th Precinct after providing DOC staff with false information.

Johnson is:

Male Black
22 years old
6’3″
220 lbs.
He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, and light-colored sneakers.

Johnson was arrested for a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
