LEESBURG, FL. – This morning, around 9:15 AM, LPD officers responded to a residence on Willow Drive, in reference to a domestic related shooting where the estranged boyfriend shot his prior girlfriend’s new boyfriend.
The suspect immediately fled the scene. Officers arrived on scene with EMS and initiated treatment on the 25 year old victim. The victim was transported to Leesburg Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident and officers are currently searching for the suspect, 25-year-old Jeremy Kenneth Harrison.
The suspect vehicle is a 2011 White Hyundai Azera 4 door; Miami Dolphins Tag D8BUU.
