A man has been arrested after trying to drive a car into a crowd on a busy street in Antwerp in Belgium.
According to initial reports, the suspect is of North African origin and weapons were reportedly found in the car.
‘A vehicle with French plates has tried to drive at high speed into the Meir (shopping street).
‘A man in camouflage was taken away,’ the spokesman told a televised news conference in Antwerp.
