(Scroll down for video) — The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the suspect wanted for rape. Details are as follows:
On Sunday, August 30, 2015 at approximately 12:10 a.m., a 19 year-old woman was walking southbound on Rockaway Parkway when she was approached by a male suspect who stated he had a firearm, pulled her into the rear of 1911 Rockaway Parkway and raped her. The suspect fled northbound on Rockaway Parkway. The victim was transported by EMS to Kings County Hospital where she was treated and released.
The suspect is described as a black male, medium complexion, 5″6′, approximately 135 lbs, wearing blue and white Hawaiian shorts, and a white tank top. The suspect covered his face with a T-shirt.
