OREGON — On Sunday November 20, 2016, 21-year-old Miguel Rebello turned himself into Portland Police Bureau detectives and was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Criminal Mischief in the First Degree and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree.
Rebello was spotted in video footage kicking a vehicle during the November 10, 2016 protest and riot. Numerous tips were submitted to detectives identifying Rebello as the suspect.
The vehicle was being driven by a young woman and occupied by two small children at the time Rebello kicked the car, causing damage.
The Portland Police Bureau is continuing to ask for the public’s help to identify criminal suspects involved in this last week’s protests and riot. Many people were taking pictures and video during the protests that may contain the identities of suspects involved in reports of widespread vandalism.
