Just before 8 AM, police received a call from the teen at an apartment in the 900 block of Northeast 105th Street. Officers arrived and found a 45-year-old woman with severe injuries and later declared her deceased at the scene.

Officers arrested the victim’s 17-year-old son, who was sitting outside when police arrived and admitted to the crime.
