CALIFORNIA — At least 13 people were killed and 30+ more were injured when a tour bus collided with a semi in Palm Springs Sunday.
NBC Bay Area reported: The Riverside County Coroner’s office confirmed 13 people aboard the bus were killed in the disastrous crash that shut down the entire westbound 10 Freeway west of Indian Canyon Road. Traffic was being diverted off the freeway at the Indian Avenue offramp, and it wasn’t clear when lanes would reopen.
It was unclear what caused the crash–an investigation is underway by the California Highway Patrol.
