CORCORAN, Calif.–The Bride-to-be (nickname Star) who says she is going to marry 80-year-old mass murderer Charles Manson will have to wait a while longer.
The license expires Thursday and the prison isn’t holding ceremonies this week.
If the wedding is ever going to happen, the couple must register for a new Kings County marriage license.
EARLIER REPORT, 11/17/14: Mass murderer Charles Manson has received a license to marry a 26-year-old woman who visits him in prison.
Afton Elaine Burton, moved to Corcoran, California almost a decade ago to be near Manson.
She runs several websites advocating Manson’s innocence.
“Y’all can know that it’s true,” she said. “It’s going to happen.”
“I love him,” she added. “I’m with him. There’s all kinds of things.”
