At least two explosions were reported in the Brussels district of Saint Gilles.
According to the Daily Star, the blasts were heard ‘at the corner of Rue d’Albanie and Avenue Adolphe Demeure.’
The area is near a popular cafe.
It was unclear if their were any injuries.
It was also not clear what caused the blasts.
At least two cars were seen on fire in photos posted to twitter.
Saint-Gilles or Sint-Gillis is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium.
