A car struck several demonstrators during a vigil in St. Louis Wednesday night.
The event was held to honor Kenneth “Kiwi” Herring, a transgender woman who was fatally shot by police after stabbing an officer.
The black Mercedes reportedly drove through protesters in The Grove are of St. Louis—minor injuries were reported and no fatalities.
People on scene surrounded the car and stopped the driver. It was unclear if the act was intentional.
