Flights halted at San Diego airport after man breaches security door

CALIFORNIA — A man was arrested and flights were halted after a security incident at San Diego International Airport Monday.

At 10:05 a.m., a man walked through a secure door in Terminal two.

Harbor police were dispatched and TSA screening/flights were halted.

The individual was taken into custody and flights resumed at 11:05 a.m.

Minor delays are expected.

San Diego International Airport, formerly known as Lindbergh Field, is an international airport 3 miles northwest of downtown San Diego.
