SARASOTA, Fla. — A Planned Parenthood Center has been evacuated after reports of a suspicious chemical odor.
People inside the center reported experiencing a shortness of breath.
The Hazmat Team are currently treating people for contamination.
Five additional units have been dispatched to the scene.
Sarasota School of Arts and Sciences has been placed on lockdown.
The fire department has confirmed that everyone will be decontaminated at the scene.
Officials have not yet identified the suspicious substance.
Dispatchers received a call about the unknown chemical substance at around 10:30 a.m.
There were 38 people inside the building at the time the substance was discovered.
