LAS VEGAS — The daughters of music legend B.B. King, Karen Williams and Patty King, are accusing two closet aides of killing their father.

Court documents brought by the daughters allege Mr. King’s business manager, LaVerne Toney, and his personal assistant, Myron Johnson, poisoned King.

Las Vegas police confirm homicide detectives are indeed investigating the death of King.

The Associated Press reports an autopsy is ongoing and results could take up to eight weeks.

B.B. King died at his home in Las Vegas on May 14th. He was 89 years old.

King’s eldest surviving daughter, Shirley King of the Chicago area, said she was upset that she didn’t have a chance to see her father before he died.

Riley B. King, known by his stage name B.B. King, was an American Hall of Fame blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. Rolling Stone ranked King number 6 on its 2011 list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
