President Donald J. Trump reportedly shared highly classified information with top Russian officials during their White House meeting on May 10th.
According to the New York Times, and now NBC News, Trump received the “critical source of intelligence” regarding ISIS threats involving laptops from the Israeli Government.
The Israeli ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer would not confirm the report but issued the following statement to the Times: “Israel has full confidence in our intelligence-sharing relationship with the United States and looks forward to deepening that relationship in the years ahead under President Trump.”
The White House has denied any improper action during the Oval Office meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak.
