A university in Eastern Kentucky has suspended all classes for a week whilst police investigate the sinister graffiti that was discovered in one of the bathroom stalls.

Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) issued a warning to students after the message ‘Kill All By 10/8/15’ was found scrawled inside a bathroom in Powell Building on Monday.

Today campus security announced that all classes would be suspended until next Wednesday, after fall break, to allow police to investigate ‘an escalating social media threat’.

After the ‘kill all’ threat, the message reads ‘this bu oop’.There appears to be a half-written letter which is illegible after ‘bu’.

‘While we are confident the responding team of law enforcement agencies has kept a watchful eye over our community and is diligently investigating the threat, it has become clear this incident continues to be unsettling to a number of our students, faculty and staff.

The university is offering a $10,000 reward for an identification leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for making threats against the college.
