Rapper Lil Wayne was reportedly found unconscious in a Chicago hotel Sunday.
The entertainer, real name Dwayne Carter Jr., was rushed to the hospital after suffering from multiple seizures.
Carter has suffered from epilepsy in the past—at least one of his concerts has been canceled.
TMZ broke the story: He was rushed to Northwestern Memorial, where we’re told he suffered yet another seizure. Our sources say his team tried to have him discharged late Sunday afternoon so he could make it to his Vegas show.
However, doctors advised against the discharge, saying he should be grounded for a few days. Wayne has suffered seizures while flying before, and the doctors felt it was too risky. He very well may still be at the hospital.
On March 14, 2013, TMZ reported that Lil Wayne had been treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on the evening of March 12, after suffering seizures while on a music video set with Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj.
