BRONX — A man, 21, was reportedly shot while holding a child in The Bronx Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 1535 Taylor Ave. around 1:00 p.m…. outside of a Parkchester apartment building.
The unidentified victim was rushed to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The child was unharmed. No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
Two men were shot and killed outside the same building in July 2004; one of those men was shot 11 times, according to PIX11.
Parkchester is a planned community originally developed by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and located in the southeast Bronx, New York City. The neighborhood is part of Bronx Community Board 9.
