Indianapolis, INDIANA — Indiana State Police troopers from the Indianapolis District are currently working an incident on the east side of Indianapolis on I-70 WB at the 88.8mm, (I-465 NB to I-70 WB), where a man appears to have suffered a gunshot wound.
This evening at approximately 6:30 p.m., troopers were sent to I-70 WB at the 88.8mm on the report of a disabled vehicle.
When troopers arrived they found an unresponsive male in the vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel were summoned and have transported the male subject to Eskenazi Hospital.
The male was the only person in the vehicle.
ISP detectives and crime scene investigators are enroute to the scene.
