NEW YORK — A person was killed after he fell down an elevator shaft at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square on Thursday afternoon.
The NYPD says they received called for the incident at around 3:45PM.
It is unknown if this was a suicide or an accident.
The man fell from the eighth floor to below street-level.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by FDNY Paramedics.
The NYPD, FDNY, and Department of Buildings are all on the scene.
