THAILAND — At least one person is dead and more than two dozen were injured following an explosion in Pattani, Thailand on Tuesday, local media reported.
The blast took place near a hotel in the popular tourist district.
The extent of the injuries was not known.
Photos posted to social media showed a building on fire.

Pattani is one of the southern provinces of Thailand.
