Minneapolis, Minnesota — Hennepin County judge Peter Cahill, who is overseeing the George Floyd case has released the body worn camera footage from ex-officers Thomas Lane and J. Alexander Kueng.

Floyd was killed during an arrest after allegedly passing a counterfeit $20 bill in Minneapolis. A police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on Floyd’s neck for nearly eight minutes. After his death, protests and eventually riots spread across the United States and internationally.
