GOP front-runner Donald Trump has canceled his Chicago rally citing security concerns.
Over 3000 people formed protests against Donald Trump throughout the city of Chicago.
Several activist groups gathered for a march to the venue where they began to block the roadway.
Donald Trump has released a statement over the cancellation of his rally.
‘Mr. Trump just arrived in Chicago and after meeting with law enforcement has determined that for the safety of all of the tens of thousands of people that have gathered in and around the arena, tonight’s rally will be postponed to another date.’
Trump’s political campaign rented out the UIC Pavilion. Some critics complained that a public university venue would be the site of an appearance by the contentious candidate.
