Toms River, New Jersey — The Ocean County Mall is being evacuated due to a bomb threat.
Police arrived at the mall located on 1201 Hooper Avenue in Toms River around 7:30 p.m. to investigate the threat.
Witnesses reported hearing “code white” announced via the mall’s loudspeaker system, with mall shoppers directed to evacuate the mall beginning at 7:30 PM, according to the Lacey Reporter.
There were two anonymous phones calls made, ABC7 reported.
Videos have been posted on Twitter showing crowds outside of the mall entrances after the evacuation order went through earlier this evening.

The entire mall was evacuated. No injuries have been reported.
The Ocean County Mall is a super-regional mall, opened in 1976 by Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation, located in Toms River, New Jersey on Hooper Avenue. The mall is accessible off of Exit 82 of the Garden State Parkway via Route 37 East.
