CALIFORNIA — Officials, including the LAPD, LAXPD, FBI, Homeland Security and other personnel are investigating an “unspecified threat on a  EVA Air flight.

“Bureau and airport officials are investigating a telephonic threat to an aircraft incoming to LAX. All threats, regardless of known credibility, are taken seriously,” the FBI released in a statement.

From CBS-LA: “According to KCAL9’s Stu Mundel, the plane landed at Gate 207 on the west end of the airport.

“That’s where they bring planes that have an issue or a problem,” Mundel said.

Mundel said the Los Angeles Police Department set up a command post and firefighters and officials with Homeland Security were also on scene.”

An investigation is ongoing. Few details were available.
