NORCO, California — First responders were on scene of a plane crash at a California State Prison facility in Norco Monday.
The reported Cessna aircraft went down around noon at the California Rehabilitation Center on Fifth Street.
#Norco On 4/22/19, at 12:10PM, deputies received reports of an air emergency in the 1900 block of 4th St. The circumstances are unknown and the NTSB will be conducting the investigation into the plane crash. No further information is available for release from RSO.

Witness video showed smoke plumes in the area following the crash.

According to local media, the area was under construction at the time of the incident and no one on the ground was injured.
The fate of the pilot was unknown.
The NTSB will investigate.
