JACKSON, Mississippi – A Mississippi cop has been arrested on child molestation charges.
58-year-old James Alderman, an Officer with the Flora Police Department, has been arrested and charged with “two counts of gratification of lust,” according to Warren Strain with MBI
From WJTV: “We have developed information that indicates there may be other incidents that could lead to additional charges being filed against his suspect.
Anyone with information that may be helpful in this case should contact MBI at 601-987-1530,” said MBI Director Lt. Col. Larry Waggoner.
Madison County Sheriff’s Department and the Madison County District Attorney’s Office are involved in the investigation, which is ongoing.
MBI says the suspect “is scheduled to make his initial court appearance at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2nd.”
