Update from Dallas Police: We believe that at about 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015, Zoe left home and drove to the Walgreens Drug Store at the corner of Garland Rd. and Peavy Rd. to return a Red Box Movie. We believe she left shortly thereafter.

We are currently reaching out to Walgreens as well as the media to try and identify any customers who may have been in the store between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday so that homicide detectives can reach out and see if they remember either seeing Zoe, the van or anyone else of interest to the case.

Additionally, members of Zoe’s family have and advised us that they will be organizing a canvass of the area around the crime scene tomorrow starting at 5:00 p.m. at Norbuck Park located at 200 North Buckner Boulevard.

Detectives canvassed area homes and businesses today and we are currently working on processing all related physical evidence collected.

Oak Farms Dairy says it has created a $10,000 reward for information leading to a suspect and indictment.

The family released a statement: “We are devastated at the loss of our daughter Zoe.

Today, we express our gratitude to local law enforcement, officials, and loved ones helping our family.

Our Zoe was full of life and love and light. She was full of talent. She was happy and joyful. She is loved by her parents and her siblings. She loved the Lord, Jesus Christ, and loved serving others. She was planning to serve a mission to share this message of the Savior’s love with others. It pains us to know that her life has been taken, yet we feel comfort in knowing that our family is forever and we will be together again someday.

We are grateful for the privacy and respect given to us during this extremely difficult time. Please continue to pray for our family. We appreciate and need your support.”

Police are asking citizens who may have seen her or the white Honda Odyssey during this time period to call the Dallas Police Department Homicide Unit (214) 671 -3584 or the Crime Stoppers Tip Line (214) 373- TIPS.
