BELFAIR, WASHINGTON — Police responded to ‘an active shooter in the cafeteria’ report at Hawkins Middle School in Belfairon Wednesday.
The Mason County Sheriff told the station the school was on lockdown and advised parents to stay away from the school—which is located at 300 E Campus Drive.
Police later confirmed no shooter or victims were found. The investigation is ongoing.
