ENGLAND — Salford University buildings were being evacuated Tuesday, a day after the Manchester Arena terror attack killed 22.
“Buildings being evacuated on Peel Park campus; New Adelphi, Lady Hale and Clifford Whitworth library. Please follow instructions from staff,” The University wrote on social media. “Police are in attendance and we will keep our students informed when we have more information.”
According to local reports, a suspicious item was discovered inside of a building.
Police later gave the ‘all-clear’ and classes resumed. No injuries were reported.
