Possible Ebola Patient Brought To NJ, Emergency Room on Lockdown -Reports

HACKENSACK, New Jersey — A suspected Ebola patient was taken from the Newark airport to the Hackensack University Medical Center Monday, according to the website ‘Cliff View Pilot.’

The hospital was reportedly on lockdown.

HUMC is designated as an “assessment hospital” where potential Ebola patients receive care for up to four days while awaiting results of a blood test — followed protocols established by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the report stated.

Hackensack University Medical Center is a 900-bed non-profit, research and teaching hospital located seven miles west of New York City, in Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey
