SAN DIEGO – A sports anchor was rushed to a hospital after getting shot in Scripps Ranch Tuesday afternoon, CBS8, the TV news station he works for, reported.
Officers now evacuating neighbors as SWAT tightens perimeter around suspect in shooting of Kyle Kraska.

EARLER: Police are searching for 54-year-old Mike Montana of Superior Painting. He is a white man who is 6-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. Montana was last seen driving a white minivan away from the neighborhood, police said.
Anyone who sees him should immediately contact police and not approach him.
According to Fox5, a neighbor heard an argument between Anchor, Kyle Kraska and a man who had been painting his house. Then, she heard several gunshots.
Another neighbor told police that someone shot the rear window out of Kraska’s silver Mercedes-Benz, firing as many as 10 shots, then fled in an older-model white minivan.
Police did not release any information regarding a suspect.
San Diego police responded to Avonette Court in Scripps Ranch after a shooting was reported at 3:07 p.m., police said.
The station reported that Kraska was rushed to a local hospital and was in surgery.
CBS8 sports director Kyle Kraska was identified as the shooting victim, according to CBS8.
