LOS ANGELES — Officials evacuated the Santa Monica pier Monday as police investigated a reported bomb threat.
A threat, believed to be telephonic, was received today before cops began focusing on a suspicious vehicle in the area. The car was later ‘rendered safe,’ police said.
According to KNBC, officers were advising residents to avoid ‘the entire pier and Ocean Avenue.’
No injuries were reported but the area remained closed.
