OAKLAND, Calif. — Officers with the California Highway Patrol, Golden Gate Division were responding to a shooting on Interstate 580 Wednesday afternoon.
Officials say at least four people were shot in the eastbound lanes near 106th Avenue.
Police did not immediately elaborate on the condition of the victims or a possible motive.

The Oakland Police Department is assisting CHP with a shooting that occurred on E/B 580 Freeway in the area of 106 Ave. At this time 4 victims have been reported injured. Traffic Stopped, please use alternate routes.
