ARIZONA — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says three dead bodies were found at a home in Gilbert Monday night.
The scene was in the 17700 block of East Prescott Place.
Police received a call from a neighbor that led them to the location.
The Sheriff says the tragic situation is a murder-suicide.
According to AZ Central, ‘Lisa Gerhart, in her mid-40s, shot her 17-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter before shooting herself.’
AZ Central reported: Deputies discovered the the bodies at 9 p.m. Monday, having been called there by a neighbor who noticed a car backed up to the house with a hose running from a tailpipe into a window of the home, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. […]
Connie Rivere, a neighbor in the community of ranch properties, said a husband, a wife and two children had lived at the house until the husband recently moved out.
