Two people are dead and one is in critical condition following a shooting inside a Church in White Settlement, Texas Sunday morning. The shooter was shot dead by a churchgoer who is the head of security.
The gunfire rang out around 11:30 a.m. local time at the West Freeway Church of Christ–1900 South Las Vegas Trail.
Police and EMS responded to the active shooting scene and located at least three victims.
“Everything is under control. Our security team did everything they needed to do,” a Church leader said. “We had a gentleman that came in armed to do harm.”

The FBI and ATF are responding to assist in the investigation.

A motive for the attack is unknown.
