A small plane reportedly crashed near Fredericksburg, Texas, around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Ricky Friedrich, owner of the Silver Wings Airport, located 15 miles southwest of Fredericksburg and just north of Kerrville, said a resident of Silver Wings Flying Ranch crashed his “light-weight plane” into a cattle fence.

Friedrich told KENS 5 the victim was transported to an area hospital with a broken leg and other injuries.

Witnesses were unsure if the pilot was flying solo or with a passenger.

The airport is private and requires permission prior to landings.
