ARLINGTON, Texas — A suspect has been shot after attempting a robbery at an Arlington bank.
Police said the incident was the attempted robbery of an armored car driver as he was tending an ATM.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
The Bank of America, located at Green Oaks Blvd. and Little Road, is surrounded by officers and crime tape as the investigation continues.
The Arlington police said in a Tweet: “Investigators will be on scene for awhile investigating attempted robbery of an armored car employee at ATM machine”
It’s unclear if the suspect was shot by the armored truck driver or a security guard at the bank.
Police are on scene investigating. No further details were available.
